ATS Simulus® Semi-Rigid (SRD) Annuloplasty Ring is quite distinct from other semi-rigid rings that are semi-rigid all the way around. The ATS Simulus SRD has a unique Flex-zone™ flexible anterior segment that respects the dynamic movement of the anterior annulus minimizing the potential for systolic anterior motion (SAM) and a semi-rigid posterior segment that stabilizes the annular repair.
